Most sites have footage of the incident and nobody who saw it happen. Off-site monitoring puts a trained operator and an AI layer between the camera and the outcome — so the response happens during the event, not the morning after.
AI does the staring
Swiss Core analyses every stream in the background — people, vehicles, direction, loitering, open gates — and raises only what the site defines as abnormal. Operators are never asked to watch 200 tiles.
The SOP is enforced, not remembered
When an event fires the operator sees the exact steps, contacts and escalation for that site. Every step is logged with a timestamp and a clip. New operators are effective on night one.

Do we need new cameras or a new NVR?
No. Swiss Core seeds any IP camera, NVR or VMS — Dahua, Hikvision, ONVIF, RTSP — over your existing link. If your cameras are usable for evidence today, they are usable for monitoring tomorrow. We'll tell you honestly if a camera is positioned or lit too badly to be useful.
What exactly does an operator do on my site?
Whatever your SOP says. Typically: respond to AI-triggered events within seconds, verify on live video, call the site contact or dispatch armed response, run scheduled virtual patrols, log every action with a clip, and hand over to the day shift with a report. The SOP is written with you and enforced by the platform.
How is this different from an alarm company's monitoring?
Alarm monitoring reacts to a contact closing. We watch video: an operator sees a person at the fence line before the fence is cut, and AI does the watching between events so nothing is missed on camera 47 at 03:00. Every event has footage, not a signal code.
Where are the cameras hosted and the recordings kept?
In our Tier-3 Johannesburg data centre on servers we own, with 100 kVA redundant power and 10 Gbps redundant fibre. Retention is set per site and camera. POPIA-aligned by geography and by access control.
What does it cost?
Per camera and per site, monthly, including hosting, the Swiss Core platform, the control room and reporting. Armed response is your existing provider or one we arrange; we dispatch, they respond. We quote the real number after a site assessment.
Can our own control room use Swiss Core instead?
Yes. Security companies license Swiss Core as SaaS and run their own operators on it. This page is for customers who want us to run the control room for them.
