Swiss
Core.
One AI layer over every camera you already own. Swiss Core seeds any IP camera, NVR or VMS into our servers and turns video into data — counts, directions, heat maps, dwell times, open gates, sleeping guards — without an operator staring at a wall of tiles.
Most South African off-site monitoring platforms are badly set up and do nothing between alarms. Swiss Core watches every stream in the background, learns the site's normal, and tells the control room only what matters.
CCTV was sold as a reactive tool. We built it as a data-driven one.
A camera that only matters when an alarm fires is a wasted sensor. Swiss Core analyses every stream in the background, all day, so a site produces measurements — footfall, vehicle flow, dwell, busy periods — and the operator is only interrupted for the exceptions.
Stability first
DynDNS IP changes, keep-alives, codec support, reconnect strategies. The foundation of intelligence is a feed that stays up — so Core monitors the network as hard as it monitors the picture.
AI on our servers, not the camera's
No dependence on per-OEM SDKs or "smart" camera licences. Plain IP cameras get people counting, direction lines and zones from the server. NVR events can be used too — your choice, per camera.
Learns from the operator
Every operator action teaches the system what mattered. Patterns are grouped automatically, scenarios are built from real events, and over time Core acts on the routine so people handle the exceptional.
From any camera to a sentence your customer can read.
Five stages, all on one Windows-only deployment that scales to around 1,000 devices per server — simple to run, simple to support.
Register devices
Dahua, Hikvision, ONVIF, RTSP, NVR channels. DDNS, static IP or dial-back. Inventory of models, firmware and serials for the asset register.
Low-bitrate background
Sub-streams at low FPS for unattended analysis. Bandwidth measured per site; FPS and bitrate autoscale for LTE and 20 Mbps fibre.
Swiss Core AI
Registered models run on every selected stream. Lines, zones, counts, heat maps, object classes, anomalies. Snapshots and data stored.
Scenarios & triggers
Events pushed to the server are grouped into scenarios. Smart triggers fire on what the site defines as abnormal — not on every leaf that moves.
Reports, search, chat
Intelligent reports per customer, smart search across sites, and a chat interface: "what happened at Gate 2 last night?"
The platform tells the operator what to do next.
Everything Swiss OMS was known for lives on inside Core — now driven by AI instead of a wall of tiles. Operators handle exceptions with a script in front of them; the platform handles the routine and packages the evidence.
SOP orchestration
Site SOPs encoded once. When a trigger fires the operator sees the exact steps, contacts and escalation path — enforced at the moment of action, logged forever.
Virtual tours
Scheduled camera tours with proof of completion, snapshots per stop and missed-tour flags. Physical patrols verified against the same timeline.
Incident management
Incidents captured from live tiles only — no uploads, no doubt. Timeline, actions, contacts called and outcome in one record.
Evidence vault
Clips, snapshots and operator notes packaged automatically, hash-stamped and exportable for clients, insurers and SAPS.
Operator statistics
Response times, tours completed, incidents per shift — per operator, per site. Training gaps visible in the data, not the post-mortem.
Client BI reports
Scheduled reports per customer: footfall, vehicle flow, exceptions, tours, SLA — branded and delivered without operator effort.
Draw a line. Tick a box. Core does the rest.
Per-camera AI setup that shows exactly what each camera does. Toggle AI per stream, choose which cameras get background analysis, and never overload the server or saturate the site link.
Windows app for the operator. Web for the customer. API for mobile.
Swiss Core is one server with three faces, each doing the job its user actually has.
Windows operator app
Shift starts on login. Live tiles, virtual tours with a new look, incident capture from live tiles only — no image uploads, no doubt about evidence. Installer-packaged.
Web reports & Customer Zone
Intelligent per-customer reports, counts, snapshots and chat. Branded with your logo and company details. Customers become self-sufficient.
API for Android
Endpoints ready for the mobile app: sites, devices, events, snapshots and status — so the same truth reaches the phone.
Roles & device access
Security layers per role, per customer, per device. Monitored sites and footage-retrieval-only sites handled differently.
Email & branding setup
O365, IMAP and POP mail settings, logo and company details — configured once, used on every report and alert.
Online / offline truth
Device status is critical. Keep-alives, network monitoring and usage per site — with low-bandwidth sites auto-flagged.
What "monitoring" usually means — and what it should.
| Capability | Typical SA off-site platform | Swiss Core |
|---|---|---|
| Camera support | One OEM's server (HikCentral / DSS) per vendor | Any IP camera, NVR or VMS — mixed brands per site |
| AI analytics | Only if the camera has a licence for it | Server-side on plain cameras; NVR events optional |
| Between alarms | Nothing — operator watches tiles | Background analysis, counts, heat maps, patterns |
| Bandwidth | Full streams, LTE sites drop | Low-FPS background workers, autoscaling, per-camera choice |
| Search | Scrub the timeline | Smart search and chat across every site |
| Customer reporting | A PDF of alarm counts | Purposeful reports: footfall, flow, exceptions, snapshots |
| Evidence | Screenshots and WhatsApp | Captured from live tiles only — no uploads, no doubt |
| Deployment | Vendor server per brand, Linux boxes, licences | One Windows server, ~1,000 devices, installer for the app |
Straight answers.
Do I need to replace my cameras or NVRs to use Swiss Core?
No. Swiss Core seeds existing IP cameras, NVRs and VMS platforms — Dahua, Hikvision, ONVIF and plain RTSP streams — using several connection strategies including DDNS and dial-back. The AI runs on our servers, so you get analytics on cameras that have none of their own.
Does it work on LTE or capped fibre sites?
Yes. Swiss Core monitors bandwidth per site, autoscales FPS and bitrate for background analysis, lets you choose which cameras get AI, and automatically flags low-bandwidth sites from what the server observes.
What can the AI detect?
People, vehicles and direction across drawn lines and zones; dwell and loitering; people counting with in/out direction; heat maps and busy/quiet periods; open gates; fire hydrants; sleeping persons; and more models are registered continuously. The system learns from operator actions and gets smarter over time.
What happened to Swiss OMS?
Swiss Core replaces it. Everything the control room relied on — SOP-driven response, virtual tours, incident management, evidence packaging and the audit trail — is in Core, now driven by server-side AI, multi-vendor camera ingest and smart search. Existing OMS customers are migrated site by site with no downtime.
Is Swiss Core built to the SA OMS standard?
Yes. It is built to the South African offsite monitoring standard for evidence, SOP enforcement and audit trail — and engineered well beyond it with AI analytics, background analysis and customer self-service reporting.
Can my customers see their own sites?
Yes. Roles and access are scoped per customer and per device. Customers get intelligent reports, snapshots, counts and a chat interface to ask what is happening on their sites — with your branding and company details on every document.
Is it sold to security companies?
Yes. Swiss Core is offered as SaaS to security companies and monitoring centres, priced per site and per camera. It is deliberately not old-school security software: intelligence, multi-vendor integration and automation are the product.
Platforms that plug straight in.
Every Swiss platform is built by the same team on the same stack, so they share logins, customers and data instead of CSV exports.
Turn your cameras into a measuring instrument.
Book a 30-minute demo. We'll seed one of your real sites into Swiss Core, draw a line, tick a box, and show you counts, heat maps and smart search on your own footage.
Multi-vendor by design
Dahua, Hikvision, ONVIF, RTSP. Bypass HikCentral and DSS servers entirely if you want to.
Data, not just alarms
People counting, direction, dwell, heat maps and purposeful customer reports — every day, not only when something goes wrong.
