Workshop.

Vehicle in, job card open, parts ordered, customer approved, bay booked, invoice out — with the whole history of that vehicle one search away.

Built for mechanical, panel-beating, auto-electrical and dealership workshops that are done with carbon-copy job cards, a whiteboard and a phone that never stops ringing for status updates.

Why Swiss Workshop

A workshop loses money in the gaps — between the bay, the parts counter, the customer and the invoice.

Swiss Workshop closes the gaps with one job card that everyone works from: the service advisor, the technician, the parts department, the customer and the bookkeeper.

Intake with evidence

Photos around the vehicle, damage map, fuel level, mileage and the customer's signature on arrival. Disputes at collection disappear.

Approvals in writing

Additional work is estimated with photos and approved by the customer online. Released to the bay only when approved; logged forever.

Hours sold vs hours worked

Technician time is clocked against the job. See efficiency per technician and profitability per job, not just turnover per month.

Modules

From the boom gate to the bank.

Vehicles & customers

Registration, VIN, owner, history, service reminders, fleet customers with many vehicles.

Intake & inspection

Photo walk-around, damage map, checklists per trade, customer signature on the tablet.

Job cards

Labour lines, parts, sublets, technician clocking, notes and photos — one card for the whole job.

Estimates & approvals

Estimates with photos sent by SMS/WhatsApp; online approval logged to the job.

Parts & suppliers

Requests, purchase orders, receiving, stock, margins, back-orders and supplier performance.

Bay & technician board

Live status per bay: in progress, waiting parts, waiting approval, QC, ready for collection.

Invoicing

Invoice from the card, VAT-ready, branded, with deposits, payments and statements.

Warranty & QC

Quality checks before release, warranty terms per part and labour, comeback tracking.

Reports

Efficiency, profitability per job, parts margin, WIP ageing, revenue per trade.

Questions we get asked

Straight answers.

Which types of workshop is it built for?

Mechanical repair, panel-beating and spray-painting, auto-electrical, and dealership service departments. Each trade gets job-card templates, checklists and reporting that match how it actually works — a panel shop's damage map is not a mechanic's inspection sheet.

How do customer approvals work?

When a technician finds additional work, the estimate goes to the customer by SMS or WhatsApp with photos. The customer approves online, the approval is logged on the job card, and the work is released to the bay. No more 'I never agreed to that'.

Does it track parts and suppliers?

Yes. Parts are requested from the job card, ordered from suppliers, received into stock and consumed on the job — with margins visible and back-orders flagged so the bay isn't blocked.

Can I see bay and technician utilisation?

A live board shows each bay and technician, what is in, what is waiting for parts or approval, and what is ready for collection. Reports show hours sold versus hours worked, per technician and per trade.

Does it keep the vehicle's history?

Every vehicle keeps its full history — intake photos, job cards, parts fitted, invoices, warranty and service dates — searchable by registration or VIN. Reminders go out when the next service is due.

How does it relate to Swiss Jobs?

Swiss Jobs is for field technicians who go to the customer; Swiss Workshop is for vehicles that come to you. They share the same design and can share customers, parts and invoicing.

Better together

Platforms that plug straight in.

Every Swiss platform is built by the same team on the same stack, so they share logins, customers and data instead of CSV exports.
