Swiss Systems started where most South African MSPs do — providing IT support, hosting, and connectivity to local businesses. The difference is what happened next.
Instead of stopping at reselling other people's software, we started building our own. First, the systems we needed to run our own operation. Then platforms our customers were asking for that nobody else was building properly for the South African market. Today we ship 11 in-house platforms — Swiss Core, OMS Hosting, Guard, VMS, Nexus, Attendance, Jobs, Workshop, Fleet, Orbit and Pulse — alongside cloud, voice, networking, custom development and managed-IT services.
That's the moat: when you call about a problem, you're calling the people who wrote the code and own the rack. Most providers can claim one. Almost none can claim both. And behind both is a team that actually picks up — not a ticket queue, not a chatbot, not a triage layer.
