Swiss Orbit · RMM + Network Monitoring

Swiss
Orbit.

Every server, PC, switch, firewall, link and UPS you look after, reporting to one console. Health, inventory, patches, scripts, topology, SLA evidence and remote support — for every customer, without a per-vendor tool or an offshore subscription.

We built Orbit because the tools we were paying for did less than we needed and charged in dollars. It monitors our own data centre and our customers' fleets — now it's available as a platform.

Why Swiss Orbit

Know about the failing disk on Tuesday, not the dead server on Monday.

Reactive IT is expensive: downtime, emergency call-outs, lost data. Orbit watches every device continuously, patches on policy, and lets a technician fix most problems without leaving their desk.

Continuous health

Minute-by-minute metrics and event logs with thresholds per device class. SMART warnings, service crashes and pending reboots surface before users notice.

Act from the console

Scripts, commands, service and process control, software deployment and remote support — all logged, all role-controlled.

Every customer, one place

Tenants, device groups, policies and alert routing per customer. Dashboards roll up across the whole estate for the MSP.

Capabilities

The RMM feature list — without the feature gates.

Monitoring

CPU, RAM, disk, SMART, services, processes, event logs, uptime, logged-on users.

Inventory

Hardware, software, licences, warranty dates, serials — always current, exportable for asset registers.

Patch management

Windows and third-party patches by policy: approve, schedule, defer, block. Compliance reports per tenant.

Scripting & automation

PowerShell and command library, scheduled or triggered by alerts. Self-healing runbooks.

Remote support

Attended and unattended sessions, file transfer, background tools — every session logged.

Alert policies

Thresholds per device group, escalation, quiet hours, routing to email, SMS or your ticketing.

Software deployment

Push installers and configuration to groups; verify installs; report on versions.

Roles & audit

Technician roles per tenant, MFA, and a full audit trail of every action on every device.

Reports

Health, patch compliance, inventory, technician activity — per customer, scheduled monthly.

Network monitoring · formerly Swiss NMS

See the problem before users feel it.

The full stack from the rack to the user's screen. Agentless monitoring of everything that speaks SNMP, plus voice-grade link probes — in the same console as your servers and PCs.

Topology discovery

Switches, routers, links and VLANs auto-discovered. The map updates as the network changes.

Latency & jitter

Continuous ping and path metrics. Voice-grade jitter monitoring for 3CX and VoIP links; outliers visible immediately.

Dependency-aware alerting

"Switch down" is one alert, not 200 "host unreachable" messages. Thresholds, trends and dependencies combined.

UPS & environment

Battery, load, runtime, temperature and humidity — load-shedding readiness per site, on one screen.

Trend & capacity

Bandwidth growth and capacity forecasts months ahead. Know when the link needs upgrading before it saturates.

SLA evidence

Monthly auto-generated SLA reports per site and per service. Real uptime data, audit-defensible at customer review.

Under the hood

Outbound-only agents. One secure console. Nothing to open on the firewall.

AgentOutbound HTTPS

Installs in seconds, runs as a service, phones home every minute. No inbound ports, no VPN.

ConsoleWeb · MFA

ASP.NET Core console with role-based access per tenant, hosted in our SA data centre.

DataSA resident

Metrics, inventory and logs stored in Johannesburg. POPIA-aligned by geography.

IntegrationAPI + SNMP

REST API for ticketing and reporting; SNMP, ping and WMI collectors cover the network layer.

Questions we get asked

Straight answers.

What does the agent monitor?

CPU, memory, disk and SMART health, services and processes, Windows event logs, pending reboots, installed software and hardware inventory, network interfaces, uptime and logged-on users — reported every minute over outbound HTTPS.

Can I fix things remotely?

Yes. From the console you can run scripts and commands, restart services, manage processes, view event logs, deploy software and start a remote support session — with every action logged against the technician and the device.

Does it do patch management?

Windows Update and third-party patching are policy-driven per customer and per device group: approve, schedule, defer or block, with compliance reporting showing exactly what is missing where.

How does multi-tenancy work?

Each customer is a tenant with its own devices, policies, alerts and technicians' access. MSPs see every tenant from one console; a customer's own IT staff can be given access to their tenant only.

Is it really better than NinjaOne-class tools?

It is built to be — code-first, with best-in-class agents, no feature gates, no dollar pricing and the same developers a phone call away. We use it to run our own infrastructure, which keeps us honest.

Does it monitor the network too, or only Windows machines?

Both. Windows servers and workstations get the agent; switches, routers, firewalls, access points, UPSs, hypervisors and internet links are monitored agentlessly over SNMP, ping and API — with latency, jitter, packet loss, auto-discovered topology and dependency-aware alerting. Swiss Orbit replaces the former Swiss NMS entirely.

Can I give customers SLA reports?

Yes. Monthly SLA reports per site and per service are generated automatically from real uptime data — exportable and defendable at customer review.

Ready when you are

Put your whole IT estate in orbit.

Book a 30-minute demo. Install the agent on one machine during the call and watch it appear in the console with health, inventory and a remote session — then we'll quote per device, in rand.

Agents that respect the machine

Small, quiet, outbound-only. No open ports, no VPN, no user complaints.

02

For MSPs and IT teams

Multi-tenant for service providers; single-tenant for in-house IT.

03

Rand pricing, local support

No exchange-rate surprises. The people who wrote the agent answer the phone.
